Undergo Background Check
You will need to undergo a background check / fingerprinting
After registering, you'll need to undergo a criminal background check and fingerprinting.
The registration process will provide further instructions on how to complete the fingerprinting at a location near you.
Receive Approval
You will receive an email with the outcome of your background check

Pay for ID Card
After approval, you may pay for your Caregiver ID card through the state portal
